Queensland Theatre strives to break down barriers for new theatregoers and bring a more open and inclusive attitude to reaching audiences. While previous season campaigns focussed on other key aspects of Queensland Theatre such as set building and lighting design, for our 50th anniversary, we wanted to look at how we open up theatre in a new, unexpected way. We gave our audience a campaign that led with motion, allowing them to connect with the characters, sets and storytelling in a multi-faceted way, opening up theatre like they’ve never seen before. is a series of character studies that lets our audience get under the skin of the character, connecting them to the experience of Queensland Theatre before they have even bought a ticket and opened the door.
