Every year the AGDA Design Awards recognise and document the best work in Australia across a wide range of disciplines. For The People picked up Studio of the year, which is a great reflection of the considerable effort of our people.
We were incredibly humbled to be chosen - both because of the the high calibre of agencies across Australia, as well as our studio being only 2 years old at the time. The judges noted at the time, "This year’s winner was For The People, whose work was consistently rated highly by the jury. In particular their immense work for the 20th Biennale of Sydney and the amazing transformation of Streamtime, both of which were awarded a Pinnacle."
We also picked up a number of additional awards for our work on Sydney Dogs and Cats Home, Start-Me-Up Labs and our very own podcast By The People. You can check out the full list here: 2016 AGDA Awards
Big congrats to all the other winners!
While we're talking all things awards, we should mention that they're often a topic of love and hate in our studio – are they relevant?...who cares?...Why bother?
