After countless long nights and lots of hard work, we couldn’t be more chuffed to receive three Pencils in this year’s D&AD awards.
Up against some exceptional projects, our work for the Biennale of Sydney was recognised with a Graphite Pencil (Typefaces) and Wood Pencil (Typography for Design). Both awards centred on 7 custom typefaces co-designed with French typographer Mathieu Régeur which underpinned the identity created for the 20th Biennale campaign. You can see more of the work here.
Our second Wood Pencil
was awarded for our work on project management software Streamtime
. While working on their digital product, we also developed a brand system that matched the aesthetic of their core feature - the To Do List. We also introduced a character (Tiny Aaron - after their founder Aaron Green), that helps navigate the experience and create a tone of voice that understands we’re as human at work as we are at home. Winning these Pencils is a great thrill and an even greater honour, given the awards are chosen by our peers. Big congrats to all the other nominees and winners!
